Steve Fisher has been the Buccs' head coach for the past 11 years. During that time he has provided stability to a basketball program that continues to produce quality players. Steve also served as assistant bascketball coach under Bob Huelsman from 1974 to 1986. During his 11 years the Buccs captured District Runner-Ups in 1988 and 1992. He coached the Buccs' second leading scorer of all-time in Lane Evans who went on to play college ball for the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee.

Steve's final season of Buccs coach was a rebuilding season. With only three seniors, the Buccs only captured 8 wins. They were eliminated in the Division IV Sectional Tournament by CCC rival Franklin-Monroe.

The Buccs were led by Matt Weikert with 11.6 points per game, Nate Davis with 9.9 points per game and Justin Huffman with 7.4 points per game.

Steve Fisher accumulated a 115-122 record in 11 years as Buccaneer head coach. He is second on the Buccs' all-time list for victories behind Bob Huelsman.
