The Lady Buccs steamrolled through the 2003-04 regular season with an 18-2 overall record and a 11-0 conference record. Their only losses during the season came at the hands of Miami East and Russia.

They had big wins over Varsailles, Franklin Monroe, New Bremen and the eventual state champion, Minster.

That was then and this is now. The success from last year is in the past and the Lady Buccs have to start from scratch. Some key players are lost to graduation, but a pretty darn good nuclues returns.

The Lady Buccs begin the season on November 19th at home against Houston. Fairlawn is next, but the Lady Buccs have to travel to face the Jets in the hanger.

Hopefully coach Besecker and his girls have some early momentum because Versailles comes to town looking for revenge a week later. The Lady Buccs defeated Versailles for the first time in Besecker's tenure and they will look to make it back-to-back.

Two road games are next as Covington travels to Bethel and the defending state champions in Minster. After a home game against Twin Valley South, the Lady Buccs have two more road games against conference foes, Tri-Village and Tri-County North.

After a brutile early schedule, the Lady Buccs finish out 2004 with four straight games on their home floor against Jackson Center, Ansonia, Milton Union and Russia.

The year of 2005 starts off with a bang as the Lady Buccs travel to Bradford to face their long-time rivals.

Arcanum is next on the schedule as the Lady Trojans come to town to try for some revenge for last season's loss at the hands of the Lady Buccs.

After a conference road game to Mississinawa Valley, the Lady Buccs face perhaps their stiffest test of the season against Franklin Monroe. The Lady Jets return virtually their entire roster and will be looking for some payback after last season's thriller in Franklin Monroe.

The Lady Buccs then face back-to-back road games against Newton and Miami East before ending the season with two home games against National Trail and New Bremen.

As always, the schedule is packed full of talented teams and the road to the conference championship only gets tougher.
